This was a definite upgrade. The dash looks very modern. I’ll put a photo of how the original stock stereo looked. It wasn’t too bad, but the new unit looks very good. The sound coming out of the stock speakers has dramatically improved in terms of bass response and clearer midrange and highs. I’ll be getting 2 ohm speakers later. The stock speakers are 4 ohm (which is bottom of what you’d want). I’m not in a rush now because of the noticeable improvement. Just be careful at higher volumes, you’ll get a scratching/tearing sound (clipping). Just lower the volume or reduce the bass level. Installing it was easy except to make it look factory-grade, I had to grind off a hook-in plastic slot that’s integrated above the hazard button. That hook-on strip goes entirely across the strip above and to the left and right of the hazard button. I’ll add a third photo pointing out this area. Other than that, you’ll likely need an audio installer to connect the back-up camera. I’m an electrician, so it wasn’t a big deal. I enjoy rolling with the IGo app on the display. It shows a map of your current travel. When I need directions, I’ll use the Google map app and the larger screen makes following travel cues easier to follow. My 2016 Toyota Camry looks comparable, and I think, better than the latest models. The sound inside now is definitely better than what you’d get from a stock 2025 Toyota Camry. Buying this item has made me willing to keep my car for at least another three years. That’s better than buying a new car for sure I haven’t tried out all features, but so far , I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Great product.
